Cataracts can happen sometimes due to different eye surgeries such as corneal transplant. According to a survey, 76% of people show cataract development after undergoing corneal transplant. People most often don’t usually develop cataract after glaucoma surgery, but certain medications and surgeries can trigger the cataract formation. Often times cataract can recur after a cataract removal surgery has been performed. These cataracts are called secondary cataracts. These cataracts happen when some part of the natural lens left behind after the surgery becomes cloudy again. Nearly 30% of people complain about secondary cataract.
