Blast your hair with a blow dryer
A study showed that hot-air methods were highly effective in killing nits, but they were less effective against live lice. It was observed that an old-fashioned bonnet dryer could kill nearly 87% of nits, but it eradicates just 10% of lice while using a blow dryer kills nearly 98% of nits and 58% of lice. So use a blow dryer on your freshly washed hair to eradicate the little buggers. But avoid using a hair dryer after applying any chemical lice treatment. Some products may contain flammable ingredients.
