Prevent head-to-head contact
Lice like to invade a clean head like the dirty one, so repeated washing is no guarantee of preventing an infestation.
The best way to keep yourself away from lice is to avoid head-to-head contact, making it difficult for them to enter into your head from the other one. Suppose your hairs are long, keep them in a braid or tight ponytail. Most importantly, don’t share brushes, combs, barrettes, scarves, hats, or pillows. Some people suggest that adding a few drops of any essential oil, such as tea tree oil, in your grooming products will ward off the bugs.
