Poor Range Of Motion
The cartilage and bone changes that occur due to OA of the knee or after any knee injury can make it difficult for the knee joints to move smoothly. A person may feel challenged to move the knee in order to walk, stand up, and carry out other everyday activities. Patients with RA may find it difficult to walk or to flex and bend their knee, due to swelling and pain. Damage to the knee joint can also affect its mobility. In time, you may need a walker or cane to help you with mobility and balance.
