Research from 2019 on ketogenic diets also shows accurate results in curing schizophrenia. A ketogenic diet is rich in fat, while a low carbohydrate diet also consists of foods that are rich in protein. But diet alterations do not make a change for individuals having schizophrenia always. More research is required to find whether there is a link between schizophrenia and diet. Always talk with your healthcare provider before forming major changes in your diet. Diet changes must not be used to replace any medication.
