Use of hair cleaning and styling products can also cause acne. The hair styling products also contain ingredients that clog pores. This includes the gel and other wax-based products used by men for hairstyling. These pores are too tiny to be visible from a naked eye but they can be felt by the fingers. Most of the time the hair products are oil-based. Increase in oil causes the pores to clog.
