Different treatments for acne
Treating acne is not easy, but there are a number of different therapeutic techniques available:
- Benzoyl peroxide
Benzoyl peroxide is found effective for acne treatment. It helps in unclogging pores, and fights acne causing bacteria. It also reduces inflammation. Benzoyl per oxide can only be used for the treatment of inflammatory acne. Cystic acne can also be treated using benzoyl per oxide, but in these cases it should be used with the prescription. Moisturizing the skin after using benzoyl per oxide is always necessary because it makes the skin dry and cause it to peel off.
