Loss Of bladder and bowel control

As the condition of Alzheimer’s progresses, there is more likelihood of developing incontinence of the bowels and bladder. The lack of control over bladder and bowel movements, especially in the middle and later stages of Alzheimer’s causes continuous leaking even after peeing that disrupts the peace of the patient as well as making them to withdraw from all social activities. The loss of control over bladder can also lead to the kidneys or bladder infection. In addition, the patient is not able to properly empty their bladder, which causes leaking of urine from a full bladder.
