Wine
New studies suggest that drinking one glass of wine every day can lower the risk of having Alzheimer’s disease. Consuming moderate amounts of wine not other alcoholic drinks could slow down the decline of cognitive functions as we age. Red wine more specifically boosts cognitive health and protects the brain from neurodegenerative effects. Moreover, a study involving the older adults state that those who drink more red wine have higher scores in the fluid intelligence test (FIT) thus showing greater abilities of wine drinkers to logically solve problems. Drinking moderate amounts of alcohol with a balanced diet can help in projecting Alzheimer’s in a reverse trajectory.
