Pain and tenderness
Especially in infants and adolescents, varying degrees of tenderness accompany breast enlargement. The condition in elderly males is by and large asymptomatic. This complaint of tenderness is the prime concern with which the patients present at the clinics.
With enlargement of the breasts, there may be associated pain in the neck and back muscles due to increased strain.
