Asymmetry of chest

In cases where gynecomastia affects only one side of the chest, the variation in shape and size of the pectoral region can create an asymmetrical look. The asymmetry can also present as variable degree of breast enlargement on either side. By itself, it is not very common. But it can be a typical side-effect of prior gynecomastia surgery. Depending upon the proliferated component, glandular or adipose, the plan of action to treat this asymmetry is another surgical procedure.
