Abdominal cramps
Just like other common symptoms of GI conditions, abdominal bloating is also common in people with lactose intolerance. Stimulated by the irritation, the enteric nervous system (that is a spread of ganglion and nerve fibers within the digestive tract) conducts pain impulses to the brain and is responsible for the cramps and pains. Navel and lower abdomen are classical sites of localized pain.
