Chronic fatigue syndrome
Constant accumulation of lactose in the muscles and absence of lactase enzyme in the body may contribute to the development of chronic fatigue syndrome. This syndrome is characterized by constant fatigue and weakness all the time. Patients may also experience pain in the bones and joints.
