Loss of Appetite
The liver plays a key role in the regulation of the digestive system. It secretes bile that is used by the intestine to metabolize fats. Conditions such as liver cirrhosis and cancer can cause disruption of fat metabolism and thus cause loss of appetite. Radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other common cancer treatments can also cause you to lose your appetite. Loss of appetite can also cause severe malnutrition that further leads to weight loss.
