Cancer and different developments
Just like cancers of the other body parts, liver cancer is a deadliest disease that causes cirrhosis and permanent damage to the liver. In European countries and others like Japan (where alcohol ingestion is high), liver cancer is the most common cancer and cause of death.
The most common factors that contribute to development of liver cancer include;
- Constant alcohol misuse
- Fat gathering in the liver (nonalcoholic greasy liver infection)
- Certain remedies or over-the-counter drugs
- Overuse of toxic substances
- Cancer of the surrounding organs that may later spread to the liver and cause liver cancer
