Liver anatomy
The liver is the second biggest (after the skin) organ in the human body and the biggest organ (gauging a normal of 1500 g). The liver is situated in the upper right-hand segment of the stomach depression, underneath the stomach, and on top of the stomach, right kidney, and digestion tracts. Formed like a cone, the liver is a dim ruddy earthy colored organ that weighs around 3 pounds. The liver has the overall state of a crystal or wedge, with its base to one side and its peak to one side. It is pinkish earthy colored in shading, with a delicate consistency, and is deeply vascular and effectively friable. Confusion encompasses the classification of liver life structures. The International Hepto-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA) phrasing of liver life structures and resections is trailed by most liver specialists.
