Hallucinations
The daydream like hallucinations is known as hypnagogic hallucinations if they occur as a person fall asleep. The hypnopompic hallucination occurs upon waking up. The narcolepsy patient feels as if there is a stranger in their bedroom. The hallucinations might be very vivid and scary because you might not fall asleep properly. When a person is not fully asleep then he begins dreaming and experiences the dreams as reality. The hallucinations can also distort the social behaviors of a patient having narcolepsy. The people suffering from hallucinations must visit a clinical psychologist or a sleep specialist to seek proper treatment.
