Smoking
Smoking increases the risk of pancreatic cancer. 20% of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer have a history with smoking. Moreover, the mortality rate from colon cancer among smokers rises by 40%. Tobacco used in cigarettes contain carcinogens which causes mutations in the DNA. These mutations lead to the uncontrolled division of cells, leading to pancreatic cancer.
