Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that causes an extensive variety of symptoms that affect numerous body organs and systems. There is a wide pattern of mucous membrane and skin symptoms resulting due to SLE. in addition to rashes there is formation of skin ulcers causing disability. Rashes might get worse with exposure to sunlight. There is a classic face rash in SLE in butterfly shape that is present from cheek to cheek on the nose area.
