Electrotherapy
As the name implies, electrotherapy uses electrical currents to trigger changes in nerve conduction and improve certain medical conditions. It might be useful in the case of radiculopathy and other cases of neck pain associated with the nervous system. Electrotherapy can be done along with acupuncture, as noted above. It can also be independent of acupuncture, as in pulsed electromagnetic field therapy and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. There are multiple forms of electrotherapy, each with its technology and applications. Studies show that these techniques work better than a placebo. Thus, we can use them to treat neck pain in many conditions, especially when the nerves are involved.
