People with penises are more suitable to have signs if they acquire gonorrhea. The symptoms normally start to show up within a week after encountering the infection. Some commonly occurring symptoms of gonorrhea among men include the following:
- Swelling or pain in the testicles
- Yellow, green, or white discharge from the penis
- Burning sensation or pain while you pee

Anal gonorrhea mostly does not indicate any symptoms. But symptoms of gonorrhea in the anus might include the following:
- Abnormal discharge from the anus
- Itching or irritation around or inside the anus
You might get noticeable symptoms of gonorrhea between 2 to 30 days after exposure to the infection of gonorrhea. Therefore, it might take several days or weeks for the symptoms to appear and you might not get any symptoms at all. In addition, pain or burning sensation might be the first symptom you will notice.
