Breast Cancer
Many people with stage 1, 2, and 3 of breast cancer first undergo surgery in which the surgeon either removes the breast i.e., mastectomy or removes the tumor only i.e., breast conserving surgery (BCS). Some people receive chemo with or without surgery. The recent studies report that the success rate of getting BCS, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy is 17% among the women of stage 3 breast cancer. However, there is only 2% success rate of BCS plus chemotherapy for all the four stages of breast cancer patients.
