Hemoptysis
Hemoptysis is defined as the expectoration of blood from the lung parenchyma or airways. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease also is an independent risk factor for hemoptysis. If you observe blood in your vomitus, contact your doctor immediately so that proper evaluation can be done.
