Breast growth
As a part of the hormonal problems that testicular cancer may cause, patients are likely to experience breast growth and tenderness. This is not a common symptom, but it is possible in a group of testicular cancer that promotes the secretion of a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin. This hormone is raised during pregnancy as well and stimulates the growth and development of the breast tissue.
As you have seen, not all of these symptoms directly point out at the testicles, and the symptoms associated with the testicles such as swelling and feeling a lump may be caused by many other health problems. Therefore, look for medical attention without panicking, and you will undergo a physical exam and a series of tests to make an accurate diagnosis.
