Blood testing

Blood test analyzes the sample of a patient’s blood for the occurrence of HSV antibodies in his blood to determine a past infection of herpes virus. The HSV antibodies are actually proteins that the immune system releases in response to the attack of HSV viruses. A solution containing a fluorescent dye and HSV antibodies in combination with the sample of cells tests to confirm the condition of genital herpes by doing a direct fluorescent antibody method. The antibodies glow under the microscope and stick to the sample if the HSV virus is present.
