Signs and Symptoms of Cervical Cancer that Require Immediate Attention

Nausea and Feeling Like You Are Going to Vomit

Continuous feeling of nausea, indigestion and abnormal bowel movements can be a sign of any cancer. In the case of cervical cancer, nausea and vomiting can be due to swelling and enlargement of the cervix. In advanced stages, the uterus enlarged to an extent that it swells into the abdominal cavity, compressing the intestines and stomach. This, in turn, may lead to acid reflux, the primary of nausea in most cases. Vomiting may follow after chronic indigestion of the food.

Nausea and vomiting can be secondary to the cancer treatment you are undergoing. Both chemotherapy and radiotherapy are known to cause this potential side effect. As these signs can be due to multiple other reasons, talk to your health care provider before opting for gynae input.

If you are experiencing any of the above-mentioned signs or symptoms, don’t waste your time and get your condition evaluated by an experienced gynecologist.
