Posture and Support
Here are few ways that can help with minimizing the knee strain by improving the posture and providing support to the knee joint:
- Raise your level of seating by sitting on a cushion or pillow, if necessary
- Avoid couches and low chairs that you might sink into
- Try to wear comforting and supportive shoes to avoid the broken arches, as it can lead to abnormal wear and strain on the knee joint
- Check that you always maintain a good posture without leaning or slouching forward
- Avoid long periods without movements and prolonged sitting, as your joints might become painful and stiff without moving
