Appendicitis normally starts with a pain in your stomach (in the middle of your tummy) that might come and disappear. Within hours, the feeling of pain and discomfort travels to the lower right-hand area, where the appendix is located usually and gets severe and constant. Coughing, pressing that area, or walking might make the pain more severe. Sudden pain starts on the right area of the lower abdomen. Sudden pain normally starts surrounding your navel and sometimes shift to the lower right area of your abdomen. Pain might get worse if you are having a cough, walking or making other jerking movements, loss of appetite, vomiting, and nausea.
