Negative symptoms
This is related to a lack or reduced ability to perform normally. For instance, an individual might avoid personal hygiene or seem to lack emotion (does not make eye contact, does not speak in a monotone or facial expressions). Also, an individual might lose interest in daily work, lack of capability to experience happiness, or socially withdraw.
