Nail Changes
There is another thing called nail psoriasis. It is a term used by medical professionals when psoriasis start affecting the nails and nail beds. Although it is more common in individuals with psoriatic arthritis, folks with skin psoriasis may also experience more or less changes in their fingernails or toenails.
If you have psoriasis for a long time, pay close attention to pitting, loosening, or thickening nails as they can be initial signs that indicates nail psoriasis. You may also experience nails that are splintered, ridged, or discolored. Sometimes your nails may look like they are crumbling.
