Minoxidil

Patients can apply this solution on the scalp, beard, eyebrows, and other affected areas. Some doctors use this in combination with steroid injections for improved results. Minoxidil stimulates hair production that was stopped by hair follicles. This treatment may take up to 1 year to show improvement in hair regrowth.
