Cellulite may vary in presentation from minor undulating waves to visible nodules. It is a fairly recognizable condition that can be inspected by the patients themselves. The pinch test: It is a simple non-instrumental and non-invasive method that involves pinching the affected skin and looking for the characteristic features. The test is performed in both, relaxed and contracted states of muscle, and results are evaluated on topographical, morphological, and other gross findings.
