Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy

This method uses a mixture of ingredients injected into the mesoderm layer of skin in an attempt to treat cellulite. The ingredients that are used in this case are

  • Caffeine: The aminophylline component in caffeine is reported to cause lipolysis and also cause improved blood flow to the target area. Hormones, enzymes, and other herbal ingredients are used in combination. This is not a favorable treatment plan for sensitive patients as some patients are reported to get an allergy and other similar side effects.
  • Collagenase: This protein recovered from bacteria and purified for administration, enzymatically breaks down the strengthened fiber cords that happen to worsen the cellulite. bacterial products, however, can initiate an immune response and hypersensitivity reactions in some patients.
  • Dermal fillers: Calcium hydroxyapatite and poly-l-lactic acid microspheres are new chemicals used as fillers in sub-dermal injection. It has been reported to significantly improve the appearance of cellulite.
