Fever
Fevers are the mechanism of the body to protect itself against foreign invaders. If you have had a long-lasting fever, it’s important that you see your doctor. While many cancer types can cause a fever (especially if the cancer has spread to another organ), fever is also an early warning sign for specific cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. Even if the cancer is not to blame, it is definitely a chronic fever that your doctor needs to know about.
