Skin Changes
Many people know that they need to call a doctor if they have a mole that changes in size, color, or shape (indicative of melanoma). However, most people don’t know that other types of skin cancer, such as basal cell carcinomas and squamous cell carcinomas, also start as patches raised on the skin. Pay attention to rough lumps or raised waxy patches that are not healing, as they may be early signs of skin cancer.
