Psychological History
The doctor will ask the patients some questions or request them to fill out a questionnaire about the symptoms, sexual history, and health history. The responses from the questionnaires can aid to evaluate the severity of erectile dysfunction symptoms in a patient. Some of the commonly asked questions are about the following:
- Problems with reaching an orgasm, feeling sexual desire, or ejaculating
- The frequency of having sex
- The longevity of erectile dysfunction symptoms
- Emotional health
- Current relationship status with partner
- Firming of erections
