Acute monoarthritis
It is the last phase in the early stage of rheumatoid arthritis, and it characterizes by swelling, redness, hotness, and infection of a single joint, which is usually the small joints in fingers or toes. Acute monoarthritis is a symptom which can be mistaken with rheumatic fever, which usually affect children at 6 to 14 years. But rheumatoid arthritis mainly affects people between the age of 30 to 50 years.
