Family History of Vitiligo
Almost 30% of the people who suffer from vitiligo have inherited genes of vitiligo and have at least one close family member having vitiligo. Although it is not necessary to have an inherited skin disorder of vitiligo in most people it is one of the possible causes of vitiligo. Certain factors that might increase the risk of getting vitiligo can be running in families with malfunctioned genes.
