Fermented orange juice
This sparkling and delicious drink – kind of like Orangina – is great for your gut as well as the tongue.
Ingredients
Fresh orange juice, 2 ½ cups
Water kefir grains, 1/2 tsp, (or whey, 2 tbsp)
Filtered water
Sea salt, to taste
Method
Pour the fresh orange juice into a glass container. Add the whey or culture starter, and a pinch of salt. Fill the container up with a cup of water. Cover it and give a quick shake. Leave the mixture at room temperature for up to 48 hours. Refrigerate it for a few hours, and enjoy!
