Easy Bruising and Bleeding
You may see easy bruising and excessive bleeding in the advanced stages of hepatitis C. These signs are believed to be the result of the faulty liver that slows down the production of platelets – protein cells needed to clot blood.
In more severe cases, there can be bleeding episodes from the gums or nose, or blood in the urine.
