Arterial blood gas test measures the amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide in blood circulation from an artery of a person having emphysema symptoms. Arterial blood gas often helps in the diagnosis of the people whose emphysema gets worse. The test of arterial blood gas is particularly helpful if a patient requires extra oxygen and feels constant fatigue.
