Prevention from lung and respiratory infections is a must. Consult to your doctor about which vaccinations to get. Some vaccinations that the doctors prescribe are for pneumonia while others attack illnesses that can make you more likely to get pneumonia including the whooping cough and the flu. Washing your hands frequently to avoid picking up germs from the air in your surroundings is quite helpful.
