Anemia

A persistent lower count of red blood cells is known as anemia. Patients of MDS may experience mild to severe anemia and complain of fatigue, tiredness, and paleness of skin color. Older adults may also experience heart-related symptoms such as chest pain due to reduced blood flow to the heart.
