Try some olive oil
This product is thought to be an amazing smothering agent. It is supposed that lice suffocate and die if the ooze clogs their breathing holes, but it should be applied overnight, and you should cover your head with a shower cap because lice can survive for hours without breathing. You’ll also have to comb afterward to remove nits, but they should come off easily because the olive oil helps loosen the bond between them and the hair shafts.
