Scanning or imaging tests like MRI or CAT scans help in identifying the problems with the structures in brain. Also, imaging scans help in ruling out the possibility of other neurological conditions. Although the imaging tests cannot confirm the presence of Parkinson’s disease in patients but helps in supporting the diagnosis that doctors make.
