Certain drug molecules in marijuana known as cannabinoids are also under examination to treat symptoms of Parkinson’s disease like slowness and excess movement of muscles. Despite some potential preclinical results of medical marijuana, doctors still not recommend to get dependent on medical marijuana entirely. In addition, doctors also recommend taking care in using medical marijuana as it can interfere with the ability to think properly.  The use of cannabinoids greatly helps in managing the non-neurological as well as neurological conditions resulting due to Parkinson’s disease.  Although the studies give varied results about the use of medical marijuana for Parkinson’s patients but there is no clear support evident from these studies.
