What Is Skin Cancer?

Fair Skin

Fair Skin

People with fair complexion are at increased risk of developing skin cancer than people with dark skin tones. The fewer piments you have in the skin, the less protection your cells will have against damaging UV radiation. Therefore, nonmelanoma cancer is rare if the skin color is dark, but if it’s lighter, then the chances are high.

Albinism is a genetic condition in which the skin does not create any melanin. Albino people have white skin and pale blond hair, and they are at the highest risk of skin cancer because of no natural protection of the body against the sun.
