The symptoms of skin cancer vary from person to person and depend upon the type of skin cancer that the person is suffering from. They can develop anywhere but most likely occur on the face, neck, and head. Some of the common symptoms observed in various types of skin cancer include
Symptoms Observed in Basal Skin Carcinoma
In Basel cell carcinoma, a pale area appears on the skin where cancer cells are growing. This type can show up on the skin in many ways, and it appears like a scar or sore. The tumor appears as a flat, scaly, and brown or yellow patch on the chest’s back. Sometimes slight changes form normal skin occur while, in some cases, big patches can be seen.
Itchy skin can form on the areas normally exposed to the sun. These areas appear as a scaly rash or itchy patch that can be reddish or even raised. Lesions are also formed on the areas exposed to the sun.
Basal skin carcinoma can appear as a shiny pink bump. This bump can be pinkish or white; this appearance is mostly seen on skin areas exposed to UV rays. The bump or red nodule can bleed and form crust.
Pink growths, along with raised edges form, along with the atypical blood vessels which may also start to appear and spread from the growths like struts of a wheel.
Open sores that may discharge and do not heal easily can also come from skin cancer. The cancer areas are fragile and can bleed easily. Most people visit doctors for the cuts that don’t heal, and it turns out to be a type of skin cancer.
