Allergy Immunotherapy
Immunotherapy is a method of not responding to allergens by retraining the immune system. Allergy shots are the most common form of immunotherapy. An individual may need multiple treatments (over the course of months to years), but immunotherapy can reduce wheezing frequency over time.
Immunotherapy can also be of assistance to people with other chronic conditions, such as COPD and emphysema.
