Clove

Though more specific scientific research is needed, several studies indicate the potential of clove application to prevent plaque and decrease inflammation. That’s because cloves have strong antibacterial and antioxidant properties that may also help to relieve pain. For the topical use of cloves;

  1. Mince about one teaspoon of cloves.
  2. Dip a wet cotton ball into the minced cloves
  3. Gently rub this cotton ball onto your gums and teeth.
  4. Let the solution sit on your gums for a few seconds to about a minute.
  5. Swish the water around your mouth and spit the solution out.
